Introduction to Mindfulness One-Day Workshop
Our one-day workshops introduce participants to the key principles of living mindfully, offering some basic practices to help cultivate mindfulness in daily life. As well as an experiential introduction to each of the core practices taught on the eight-week MBSR course, we explore where mindfulness comes from, as well as some of the latest scientific evidence for its effectiveness. Participants are also pointed to ways they can begin to develop their own practice. These workshops offer an opportunity for those curious about mindfulness or considering an eight-week MBSR course to find out more.
The workshops are led by Ed Halliwell and will run from 10am-5pm. Coffee will be available on arrival and a light vegetarian lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is essential for all our workshops.
