Introduction to Mindfulness, Residential Weekend Retreat.

Bales of HayThis residential weekend retreat taught by Ed Halliwell offers an experiential introduction to mindfulness, exploring what it is, how it can be cultivated, and what it can bring to our lives. You will be invited to experience some key mindfulness practices (such as a body scan, sitting meditation, and mindful movement) and we will explore together how these can support well-being. We will look at some of the attitudes and approaches that can help us develop mindfulness, examine how to work with obstacles, and point to ways you can develop and maintain a personal practice, as well as learning about the scientific evidence for its benefits.
